1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the AutoStat web application and related services available at autostat404.com. AutoStat is a time-limited service covering exclusively the 2026 FIFA World Cup (June 11 – July 19, 2026). Data collection is limited to what is strictly necessary to provide the Service during this period.

2. What We Collect

• Email address — collected only when you purchase Pro access, used solely for authentication and account management
• Payment information — processed entirely by LemonSqueezy; we never see or store your card details
• Anonymous usage data — aggregated, non-identifiable data about feature usage (no personal identifiers attached)

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics platforms
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
• We do not track your precise location
• We do not store your betting history or any financial transaction data
• We do not collect data from users under 18 years of age

4. Local Storage

AutoStat stores data locally on your device (via browser localStorage) including your prediction history, Expert Intelligence report history, and Pro status (email + access flag). This data never leaves your device except for the Pro authentication check against our secure server. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the sign-out option in Account.

5. Cookies

AutoStat does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use only functional browser storage (localStorage) to maintain your session and preferences. No cookie consent banner is required as we do not deploy non-essential cookies.

6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Bookmakers

The AutoStat app may contain affiliate links to licensed bookmakers. If you click on these links and register or deposit on a bookmaker's platform, we may receive a commission. When you interact with an affiliate link:

• You are redirected to the bookmaker's own website, subject to their own privacy policy
• The bookmaker may place their own cookies on your device
• We only share a non-personal click identifier — no personal data is transmitted to bookmakers by AutoStat
• Affiliate commissions do not influence our statistical outputs or analysis

7. Third-Party Services

• LemonSqueezy — payment processing. Subject to their own Privacy Policy at lemonsqueezy.com
• API-Football — sports data provider. No personal data is shared with them
• Anthropic — AI analysis provider. Match data (team names, statistics) is sent to generate Expert Intelligence reports. No personal user data is transmitted
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and Workers. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy

8. Data Retention and End of Service

Following the WC2026 Final (July 19, 2026):

• Email addresses used for Pro authentication will be deleted within 90 days (by October 17, 2026)
• Local device data (localStorage) will remain on your device until you clear it
• Anonymous aggregated usage statistics may be retained for analytical purposes

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will process valid deletion requests within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@autostat404.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Pro access verification is handled via Cloudflare Workers with KV storage. Email addresses are stored server-side only for authentication purposes. All connections use HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data against unauthorized access.

11. Children

AutoStat is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. International Users

AutoStat is accessible globally. If you access the Service from outside the operator's country of establishment, your data may be processed in a different jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Pro users of material changes via email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
